Journal Finder Report: How It Works

5 Steps to Finding the Right Journal Fit

1
Selecting a Subject Expert

Upon receipt of your manuscript, our subject expert, who is familiar with your field and the relevant journals, will review your research and determine the best journal fits, based on your topic, methodologies, and publication aims.

2
Cross-Checking

Our subject expert will cross-check your article with other similar articles published in relevant journals to ensure a higher success rate for the acceptance of your article.

3
Compilation of Relevant Journals

Our subject expert will compile a report of 3-5 relevant journals, along with the following information:

    • Impact factors and/or q-index
    • Description of the journal’s interests
    • Word count limit
    • APC (article processing charge) as relevant
4
Managing Editor Review

One of our managing editors will review the journal recommendations and send you the personalized recommendation report.

5
Final Review

After your review of the report, we will schedule a follow-up conversation with your managing editor to discuss your journal prospects and next steps.
